The LCR-Reader-MP has more features than any other available tweezer-meter, including oscilloscope mode, pulse counting, AC/DC voltage/current measurements, signal generation, etc. Nhíp đo LCRWhen using oscilloscope mode, the device is able to analyze wave-forms with frequencies up to 100 kHz on active circuit boards. Electrolyctic capacitors are measured at 120 Hertz with ESR measured at 100 kHz according to regular electrolytic capacitor test conditions. The test frequency is reduced to 25 Hertz when using the 'Large Capacitance' mode, allowing to evaluate very large capacitances with reasonable accuracy. The LCR-Reader-MP offers a wide range of test frequencies for optimal test conditions. This test signal level may not be enough for reliable measurements of some ceramic capacitors; this can lead to lower than actual capacitance values. The device is also larger than LCR-Reader and the newer models of Smart Tweezers. The LCR-Reader-MP weighs 2 oz., twice that of the other models. The larger size allows for a larger display for better readability. The device is controlled using a jog-wheel that scrolls through the extensive menus.
