Diễn đàn làm Đẹp SEAT has joined the ranks of car manufacturers touting connected car technologies at MWC with a technology alliance with Samsung and enterprise app company SAP. Read more: new phones The collaboration has been showcasing technologies at the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona, and utilises the Samsung Pay platform that has so far launched in South Korea and the US. The addition of SAP and SEAT to Samsung Pay has allowed for applications such as a car parking service that enables the user to reserve and pay for a spot without leaving the car, say the companies. In the future concept, the app allows users to reserve a space using fingerprint recognition, then navigates the driver to the space. The car is allowed through the barrier automatically when it arrives, and payment is made automatically when the car leaves the carpark. Another app concept allows users to share digital keys with other people, allowing someone to borrow the car without the need for physical keys or even for the two people to be in the same place at the same time. Digital keys are securely transferred between users’ smartphones, the companies say.
